Walking Between Worlds
Early morning mist produces more than a dense covering that separates the quiet night from the early morning hours. We all know the lives that we or others have during the night and day. In centuries past there were always a clear line that divided the two. The daytime was for work while the nighttime was for sleep. It was that simple. Happiness and love filled the day with the other joys and responsibilities, along with the stress and worry. While stories and legends gave birth of creatures that bump in the night. The introduction of the light bulb changed everything. Worlds collided and merged for the first time since the beginning of time.
No longer was life simple.
Time is precious. Perhaps as Life itself. It offers us the ability to change our surroundings and to be able to change what lies within us. Without it, we could do neither. But there is a place where time nor change exist. Where one can commune with anything and everything; anyone and everyone. To be able to co-exist with the All that is. Our mundane life, and time, fades away much like the early morning mist that fades to bring a new day.
It is this place that we call -Between the Worlds.
Shamans have all known of this place. So have the ancient Avatars and Mystics of olde. Now many of today's witches and Wiccans who practice ritual are finding this sacred place that has no boundaries. No one has traveled here by any known path or road. It is not found on any map nor ever will be. There are no words to give the directions in finding it. Nor explain the concept of what this place truly is. For it is not really a place at all. It is not just in one's mind, yet is far more real than anything we have experienced in our daily life.
Nothing compares to its magnificence royal splendor. It is beyond words.
The Three Worlds have all known war and peace in various degrees. You will not find Paradise among them anywhere. Except in the center of stillness. It matters not what world you choose but it is usually best to pick the one that you are presently in. Earth has many elements to transverse. Not all are well known. Some have never been traveled before and virgin to ones footsteps. There is no-one here to carry you. But you are not alone either. You could never be truly alone. To be here, in Stillness, gives you calmness and tranquility.
But you are still restless and unsatisfied.
Humans always need to do something. Nothing about boredom. Its survival. Was that a saber-tooth tiger I saw or some shadow creature? It matters not. Human Egos play the same survival game. The inner child must make itself known to exist. It is false and untrue but it does it anyway. And Humans play the game with it. A child and its caretaker. Living together as one. Connected by a self made web. Neither seeing what lies outside the playpen.
Emotions, good and bad, that create the illusion of reality of daily Life.
To escape. Who hasn't wish to walk away from it all, if for only a moment. You were never meant to loose that connection that you so dearly wish to re-establish. But here in no-time, you can have that, that which can exist nowhere else. To experience something that your senses can not. To see what your eyes can not. To hear what your ears can not. To touch and feel what your hands and fingers can not. To have everything but taking nothing.
It is here that your heart may soar. Here, desires are no more.
You are Home.

 As of this writing, I have been here on Midnight Crowd for almost 2 years now. Back in 2008 I placed "Gothic" and "Vampire" in the search engines to see what would happen. Not trusting to join any website at that time, nothing really became of my search results. Websites developed better security and I got more daring so I decided to join MC.
 At that time I was a member of Prince's NPG Club as "JustBIO on another site." It gave me some experience in the forums and chat rooms, not to mention great third row seats at his "Musicology" concert, but for some reason the name didn't sound very vampy so I changed it. Although my current alias is not that very vampy either, I'm not one for role-play and I didnt want to use my real name since I don' like to reveal anything either. I like it - it suits me.
 It wasn't very long after that the MC was created. Members knew something was going on behind the scenes. Tim was busy coding and visiting our profiles. Minimum comments were left, if any, no answers were given and we were not going to ask any questions either. And then, all of a sudden, it happened.And then we were told that some of us would be given positions! Some members took offense, some kept an open mind, while others were delighted about the addition to the site and thats how members were given positions.
 Midnight Crowd is not a home for me. To say it was would be silly. I love the way Tim ran it with the concept of 100% voluntary contribution and no drama. But it is not a Home. Nothing on the Internet is real - its virtual at best. I do not confuse real life with anything I do online, although I did have the pleasure to personally meet several MC members but then again, that was real.
 An unwanted warning.
